New Children's Ballet Classes in Tayport

We have some exciting news to share…

This September, Little Lights Academy is delighted to be opening a brand-new location in Tayport, bringing our much-loved children's ballet classes to even more families across North East Fife.

We've had the privilege of teaching lots of wonderful children through our classes in St Andrews, helping them grow in confidence, creativity and a love of dance. Now we're so excited to welcome families from Tayport, Wormit, Newport-on-Tay and the surrounding areas to become part of the Little Lights Academy family too.

A Warm Welcome for Every Child

Whether your child loves to dance around the living room or is taking their very first ballet steps, our classes are designed to help every child feel happy, supported and encouraged.

We believe ballet should be about so much more than learning steps. Through music, storytelling and imaginative movement, children develop confidence, coordination, creativity and friendships that can last for years.

Every class is filled with smiles, imagination and plenty of encouragement, allowing children to learn at their own pace while having lots of fun along the way.

Meet Miss Nicola

As co-founder of Little Lights Academy, I'm incredibly excited to be bringing our children's ballet classes to Tayport.

Together with my co-founder, Miss Emma, I spent over 15 years building a successful children's ballet school across Hertfordshire and London, where we had the privilege of teaching hundreds of young dancers. Watching children grow in confidence, discover a love of dance and develop skills that stay with them has always been the most rewarding part of what we do.

Having now made St Andrews my home, I'm delighted to continue that journey here in Fife. After welcoming so many wonderful families to our St Andrews classes, it feels incredibly exciting to now bring Little Lights Academy to Tayport too.

With years of professional dance experience, my aim has always been to create classes where every child feels happy, encouraged and able to shine. Whether it's a child's very first ballet class or they're already full of confidence, I love seeing each little dancer grow in self-belief, creativity and joy every single week.

I can't wait to welcome lots of wonderful new families to our Tayport classes this September.

Our Tayport Ballet Classes

We're delighted to be offering three age-appropriate classes at The Larick Centre.

✨ Sparkles (Ages 2–4)

Our parent-and-child ballet class where little ones enjoy dancing alongside a grown-up as they build confidence through music, movement and imaginative play.

✨ Shimmers (Ages 3–5)

Children begin developing more independence while parents stay to watch and cheer them on.

✨ Stars (Ages 4–7)

Perfect for children ready to develop their ballet skills, confidence and creativity in a fun and supportive environment.
